This year is our Mother’s Day Edition! This means a new award group will be added. Top 3 overall moms in each distance will receive special awards! As a mom myself, I know the challenges of balancing motherhood and taking care of ourselves so this is your day to have your own category. I’ve added a new question to the registration where you can say yay on your mom status.
Also for 2020, the race will be dedicated to the memory of one of our multiple-time past entrants, Beth Lazor-Smith. Beth passed away suddenly in the fall of 2019 from a blood clot in her brain following heart surgery. Despite years of challenging health issues, Beth lived life to the fullest and stayed active through chronic pain and fatigue. Beth was a dear friend of mine and to honor her, I’ve set up a PledgeReg to go along with the race. Beth’s mother passed away from lung cancer and the GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer was near and dear to Beth’s heart. Donations will be accepted in her memory.
Race on the beautiful trails of the Tin Mountain Conservation Center in Albany, New Hampshire for the 7th annual Dirty Girl Trail Race! The 2020 race will feature the same 2 distance options as 2019. Two loops for approximately 10 miles or one loop for approximately 5 miles. Also new is the added Athena Division (165+lbs). Roots, rocks, mud and bog bridges make this a fun, yet challenging event.
NO DOGS OR STROLLERS allowed to accompany a racer during the race, but both are very welcome at the facility. Please leash dogs in the start/finish area. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to be unleashed on the trails in general.
Women’s sized t-shirts are guaranteed to all registrants who register by April 12, 2020 @12:01am. After that, participants will not receive shirts unless we have leftovers post-race.
This is a race for WOMEN-ONLY, but bring your men along for support!
